An exceptional survival from the Civil War era, Bostick School, a simple gable fronted frame building erected about 1890 on the site of the antebellum Bostick schoolhouse. Bostick School was decommissioned in 1922 but used for other purposes, which allowed the building to stand until 1992, when the Richmond County Historical Society commenced a restoration. Today, Bostick School is the county's oldest school building and also its only surviving one-room schoolhouse.
